This Civil Defence and Emergency Management Plan was approved in July 2004 and has a life of five years.
The plan was prepared and produced by Gisborne District Council and key partners, in consultation with the public, and in accordance with the requirements of the Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM) Act 2002, National Strategy and guidelines issued on CDEM planning.
