On 29 May 2008 council approved for publication the Patutahi, Ruatoria and Te Karaka Township Development Plans.
Council has worked with the communities of Patutahi, Ruatoria and Te Karaka to capture in the Plans each community's vision for their township and guide Council in planning for their future development over the next 20 years.
The success of each plan depends on Council acting together with local communities and other organisations.
