The Local Governance Statement contains information about:
- the processes through which council engages with its community;
- how council makes decisions;
- how citizens can influence those processes.
We are required by the Local Government Act 2002 (Sec 40(1)) to update the Council's Local Governance Statement within 6 months of a local government triennial election.
