Beautifully situated, and within easy walking distance of the city, the Holiday Park is right at Waikanae Beach - well known for its safe swimming and long stretches of sand. The park is also handy to the Olympic Pool Complex, the Adventure Playground (lots of children's play equipment including a train ride), Mini Golf and the Gisborne Information Centre. Facilities immediate to the park include children's play area, tennis courts, walk-in coolroom and the Waikanae Surf Club. Cot, tennis racquets, surfboards and boogie boards are available for hire.
24 two bed cabins are available with single or double beds and can be hired singly or in multiples, according to family size. There is a central kitchen, eating and recreational building available solely for the Ranch Houses. Cooking in cabins is prohibited. Each cabin contains a wardrobe, dresser, power point, beds, mattresses and pillows, occasional table and two chairs. Occupants supply their own linen and blankets, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. (Linen and blankets can be hired.)
20 units, with modern kitchen-living room, heater, gas range, fridge, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. All units have a television, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other have two singles), own shower, hand basin and toilet. Occupants supply own linen, blankets only, or these can be hired.
