Gisborne District Council adopted its 2010/11 Annual Plan on 27 May 2010. 
This annual plan is based on year 2 of council's Ten Year Plan 2009-2019. It sets out the activities council intends to carry out over the 2010/11 financial year, how much these activities will cost and how they will be funded.

Annual plans are required by law. They are prepared in consultation with the public in the years between the ten year plans. Ten Year Plans are produced every 3 years.
Council went out for public feedback during March 2010.
