Building succcessful teams

A team leader doesn’t make a team nor can they make a team perform successfully. This course will teach what self-directed teams are, how they work, and how to create and manage them. Find out what your organisation stands to gain from self-directed teams and discover how a team environment will change your job. You'll also learn how to guide people through the transition to a self-directed team.

This course will:

• Encourage participants to consider and debate the merits of a no-blame supportive culture focused on common interest and shared responsibility for results – the concept of self-managing teams

• Reinforce the value of personal development plans to help employees achieve greater job satisfaction
• Provide an opportunity for participants to debate work/life balance issues and how they might be improved in their workplace
