Council's bus service is provided by Red Bus Service, 136 Derby Street, Gisborne phone: 867 7423 

Bus timetable

We have 2 buses operating to and from the city centre in Bright Street and the outer suburbs.
No service is provided for rural areas outside the city, or coastal and rural townships.

The costs are:

• under 5 - free
• child 5 -15yrs - $1.50
• adult 15+ - $2

If you have a SuperGold card, you can ride on a council bus for free between 9am to 3pm.  Just show the bus driver your SuperGold card.  For more information about the SuperGold card - visit the SuperGold website
