We maintain 12 cemeteries in our district.  The main cemetery is Taruheru Cemetery in Nelson Road.

Private cemeteries

We do not hold any records for private cemeteries in our district.

Urupa

There are a number of urupa around the district, they are not maintained by council. 
If you are interested in one of these for a burial, you should contact the local kaumatua or a runanga representative to discuss.
