We maintain 12 cemeteries in our district.  The main cemetery is Taruheru Cemetery in Nelson Road.

We do not hold any records for private cemeteries in our district.

Urupa

There are a number of urupa around the district, they are not maintained by council. 
If you are interested in one of these for a burial, you should contact local kaumatua or runanga representative to discuss.
