Fees and charges

Gisborne District Council's fees and charges. The fees and charges are effective from 1 July 2010 until 30 June 2011 and are GST inclusive.

The fees and charges are used to fund the operation and maintenance of a variety of services provided to the community, which include:

• Cemetery
• Environment and Planning charges for:
  • Resource consents
  • Building
  • Environmental health - registration of premises, food hygiene, mobile shops, hawkers, stalls and itinerant traders
  • Animal control
  • Parking
  • Liquor licensing
  • Rural fire

• HB Williams Memorial Library
• Gisborne Olympic Pool
• Soild waste
• Theatres - War Memorial, Lawson Field and Outdoor Theatre
• Utilities - water, stormwater, wastewater
• Gisborne Vehicle Testing
• Waikanae Beach Top 10 Holiday Park
