Guy Fawkes bonfires

Bonfires will only be allowed on Midway beach from the Midway surf club to Pacific Street on Thursday 5 November only.  Bonfires are not permitted on any other beach in our district. 

You are reminded that fires are not permitted in the city or rural areas after dark, unless you have a permit issued by our Rural Fire Officer.   If you wish to apply for a open air fire permit you must have the permit in your hand before you light the fire.
