Plan Changes 2 and 3 - Minor Changes to the Tairāwhiti Plan
Plan Changes 2 and 3 to the Tairāwhiti Resource Management Plan address inconsistencies and ambiguous rules that result in interpretation difficulties. They aim to improve the plan for users.
Plan Change 2 focuses on clarifying the landscaping rules in former Chapter 18 (Commercial Zones), former Chapter 19 (Industrial Zones) and former Appendix 32 (Rules for Landscaping) of the Combined Regional Land and District Plan, which are now contained in Part D and Appendix H12 of the Tairāwhiti Resource Management Plan. The plan change does not aim to change the meaning of the rules.
Plan Change 3 focuses on minor changes to clarify the former Chapter 8 (Infrastructure). It also proposes minor changes to the former Chapter 4 (Natural Heritage), Chapter 18 (Commercial Zones), Chapter 19 (Industrial Zones), Chapter 21 (Rural Zones) and Appendix 25 of the Combined Regional Land and District Plan. These provisions are now found in Part C and Part D of the Tairāwhiti Resource Management Plan.
