Instalment 2 due by this Friday

Last day for payment is 5pm Friday 20 November.

This is the last day to pay the 2nd rates instalment for the 2009/2010 rating year.  Payment may be made in person at council's service centres in Fitzherbert Street or at Te Puia Springs.  Payments, including postal payments, must be received before 5pm on Friday 20 November 2009 to avoid a 10% penalty.

For telephone or internet banking please quote your valuation number as the reference number. If you are making payments for multiple properties please ensure each property is correctly identified with the valuation number.

You could get up to $550 off your rates

Low income earners – You have until 30 June 2010 to apply for a rate rebate of up to $550 off your rates for this rating year – (1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010)
