Closure of Motu Road to vehicles

| Description: | Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 Section 342 of the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, Notice is hereby given that for the purpose of allowing the Motu Challenge Multisport Event 2009 - Motu Road from the Gisborne/Opotiki district boundary will be closed between 7am and 12pm on Saturday 10 October 2009.
During the period of closure intermittent provision will be made for ordinary vehicle traffic which would otherwise use the road. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than those covered by the above permit to use the road during the period of closure. |
