Closure of Reads Quay to vehicles

| Description: | Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 Section 342 and the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, Notice is hereby given that for the purpose of allowing Te Wananga O Aotearoa graduation to be held at the Emerald Hotel, Reads Quay from Lowe Street to Gladstone Road will be closed between 7.30am and 2pm on Saturday 17 October 2009.
During the period of closure no provision will be made for vehicles which would otherwise use the road. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit, to use the road for vehicle traffic during the period of closure. |
