Tairawhiti Roads (an amalgamation of Gisborne District Council and New Zealand Transport Agency) is responsible for all our district's public roads including state highways. This includes the maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads, bridges, street lights, footpaths, road marking, traffic signals, signs, walkways and cycleways, roadside vegetation control.
