Gisborne District Council is responsible for all our district's public local roads. This includes the maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads, bridges, street lights, footpaths, road marking, traffic signals, signs, walkways and cycleways, roadside vegetation control.
NZTA is responsible for the 2 state highways in our district - state highway 2 and 35.
