Put your bag and bin at the kerbside (out near the road) before 7am on the morning of your collection. Remember to put the correct number of stickers on your bag(s).

How you should sort it

Recyclables go in the council approved black recycling bin.
Rubbish goes in your own bag with the correct number of stickers.

You should recycle your kitchen scraps for compost or try a worm farm.

How many stickers do ratepayers get and when?

Ratepayers on the collection route are sent 13 stickers with their rates invoice.  This is one sticker per week.

Check out how to redeem a sticker for recycling options.

How many stickers to use

You need one sticker for up to 5kgs.  The maximum weight for one bag is 20kgs (4 stickers)

You can use plastic or paper bags, or a bag inside a rubbish bin. Make sure you tie the bag up and put the correct number of stickers on the bag.

If you miss the collection or want to get rid of your rubbish earlier, you can take your rubbish bag, with the correct number of stickers on, to AllBrites depot during their opening hours.

You can buy extra stickers

You can buy extra stickers from the supermarkets, most dairies, service stations and council. These stickers are a different colour and shape to the council-issued orange stickers.

Recycling options using a sticker

You can redeem a council issued rubbish sticker for recycling options.
