Some sports grounds remain closed

The following grounds remain closed over the weekend:

• Anzac Park soccer field
• Nelson Park - No.1 & No.2 soccer fields
• Oval No.1 rugby field
• Waikirikiri Reserve No.1 rugby field
• Wainui Reserve soccer field.

All other sports fields are open:

• Awapuni Sports Stadium
• Barry Park
• Childers Road Reserve
• Harry Barker Reserve
• Heath Johnston Park
• Oval No.2
• Watson Park
• Patutahi soccer field

When a ground is closed it means that no access is permitted onto the sports fields on that ground.  There can be no sports games, matches, practice or training.  This also includes other recreational activities such as running, walking your dog, hitting a golf ball etc.
