Keeping yourself and workmates free from injury takes special knowledge and skills. This course will give you an understanding of the health and safety basics and how to get everyone at your workplace motivated for health and safety.

This course will provide knowledge and skills that will:

• qualify attendees as approved health and safety representatives under the Health and Safety in Employment Act
• help with set up and maintenance of practical and effective health and safety systems
• encourage attendees to be active in preventing injuries
• get your committee moving and making a difference.

You'll learn about the health and safety legal framework, hazard management and developing a plan of action, and much more.
