Consultation at Te Puia

Look forward to seeing you at a joint public workshop, Wednesday, 9 June 2010, at 5.30pm at Iritekura Marae, Waipiro.

What is a Township Plan?

The Township Plan will set out your community’s vision of what you want Waipiro Bay and Te Puia Springs to be like in 20 years.   It is a community plan that can help Council (and other agencies) in planning and serving your community.

We urge you to get involved in developing the Waipiro Bay / Te Puia Springs.  The success of the plan depends on the level of community support and on us all working together.

How can you be involved?

There are many ways you can get involved:

  • submit an idea in writing into our Ideas Boxes around the town and at the schools
  • request a meeting with staff to discuss your ideas
  • come along to the next public workshop in April
  • submit an entry into the children’s art competition through the schools
  • send us your name, postal address and phone/email to go onto our contacts list to get updates and invitations to future activities.

What are the time frames for 2010?
