Waipiro Bay

Freedom camping starts on Sunday 27 September and ends on Monday 5 April 2010.

Waipiro Bay is located 103km from Gisborne or 231km from Opotiki.  The beach is 6km from the state highway.  There are 2 freedom camping areas at the:

• northern end of the bay - at the end of McIlroy Road
• southern end of the bay in front of the Marae on Marae Road

Good fishing, surfing and diving.
