Healthy Homes Project

The Healthy Homes Project aims to provide district residents with healthier and more energy-efficient homes.  Residents who are eligible for a Community Service Card and own a house built before 1977 can apply for a full 100% subsidised healthy homes package valued at $2400 a home.

This package includes ceiling and underfloor insulation, hot-water cylinder wrap and pipe-lagging, and draft exclusion around doors.

Home owners not eligible for a community service card and landlords, may qualify for a subsidised rate through the National EnergyWise Project.
