We monitor the Hangaroa River water quality at Doneraille Park weekly from 1 December to 31 January.
Hawke's Bay Regional Council also monitor the Hangaroa River water quality at this location monthly.

About Doneraille Park

Doneraille Park is a popular camping, swimming and trout fishing area on the Hangaroa River. The water quality is generally safe for swimming

Situated on Ruakaka Road off Tiniroto Road.  The summer and freedom camping area is on the left side down the bottom of the hill.
