Our new digital pānui

Pānui Taiao - July 2021

For almost 30 years, Gisborne District Council produced a quarterly rural-focused publication called Conservation Quorum. It featured informative and topical articles covering land, water, soil and biodiversity, along with advice relevant to our district.

Last year, we decided to refresh the format of CQ and bring it into the digital age. The move to an eNewsletter allows us to keep the content timely, accessible and link readers to useful resources on our website. Most importantly, has a zero-waste footprint.

It’s been sometime in the making, but we’re pleased to bring you the pilot edition of Pānui Taiao - encompassing environment, land, nature and country.

Pānui Taiao is driven by Council’s integrated catchments team and we’d love to hear your ideas on the type of content you’d like to see more of in future.

Please share this with friends and neighbours as we work to build our distribution list - anyone can subscribe to future editions

We hope you find this informative and interesting, and we welcome your feedback on the new format. Email our team
