Fees and Charges

Gisborne District Council’s fees and charges help fund the delivery, operation, and maintenance of a wide range of services across our community. Fees are reviewed annually through the Annual Plan or Long Term Plan, but may also be updated during the year if needed

Fees and Charges 2025/26

The 2025/26 fees and charges apply from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.

Note: Hairdressers registration and fees update. From 31 July 2025, the Health (Hairdressers) Regulations 1980 are revoked and no longer enforceable. This means hairdressers and barbers are no longer required to register with Gisborne District Council and Council will no longer collect registration fees or carry out inspections under these regulations. For up-to-date health and hygiene guidance, refer to the Ministry of Health's public health guidance for hairdressers and barbers
