Antenno Q&As
Make sure you've added an address within the Tairāwhiti district.
You'll only see updates if one of the places you've added has been sent out updates from Council. These updates can be seen in your post feed.
Antenno tailors updates to the location and topics you care about.
Social media is more broad, but you can also miss vital information too.
The app uses Google as the source for its address data.
This means that when Google Maps is updated with a newly created address, the address will appear in Antenno.
The app works by sending notifications to parts of the district that are relevant for that information.
If you can't find an exact address, try adding the nearest address that does appear in Antenno - it can be the area, township or street name rather than the specific address.
No. The app doesn't track where you are. It uses the addresses you've added as your favourite places and sends notifications relevant to those areas.
The only time the app knows your location is when you access the report it function of the app to tell us when something needs our attention.

Yes you can, just tap on 'Share' and you can share it.
The app needs either mobile data or wifi to receive posts. If you're not connected to wifi or don't have service, then you won't receive our posts until you're connected.
Antenno doesn't capture personal data unless the user reports an issue to us, this is the only time it will ask for a name, phone number and email is optional. This data is only stored on Antenno only for the time it takes to successfully submit the report to us, then it's removed. So there's no long term storage of contact info on Antenno's servers.
