Flood forecasting information limitations
Flood forecasting information provides modelled data to help communities stay informed, prepared and ready to act when river levels rise. It is intended to support awareness of current and possible river flooding conditions.
Although model outputs may be updated regularly, Council does not guarantee that this information is complete, current or accurate for a user's specific location.
Do not rely on this information as your only source or as confirmation that it is safe to stay, travel, enter floodwater or delay evacuation. Always follow official advice, warnings, evacuation notices and instructions from Civil Defence, emergency services and Council. If you feel unsafe, move to safety
