How the Plan Stop legislation affects our timeline
The government’s Plan Stop legislation took effect on 21 August 2025. From that date until 31 December 2027, councils are not able to notify new plan changes or plan reviews unless they have been granted an exemption.
Because of this, the timeline and scope of the catchment plans may need to change.
