Event - Battle of the Bays
Part of Centennial Marine Drive will be closed for the Super 11 triathlon on 13 November 2026
Event - Poukai at Te Poho o Rawiri Marae
On November 14 2026, Te Aitanga-a-Māhaki will host its inaugural historic Poukai with the Māori Queen, TeArikinui Kuini Nga wai hono i te po, in attendance at Te Poho o Rawiri Marae. Road closures will be in place from 12 to 15 November on Parau Street , Ranfurly Road and Queens Drive.
Event - Silver Fern Rally
Ultimate Rally Group are bringing international rally stages to Tairawhiti on 30 November and 1 December 2026.
Event - Reads Quay road closure
Road closed the first Sunday of each month between 7am - 11.30am for Gas Guzzlers Breakfasts.
Event - Farmers Market road closure
End of Stout Street by Kelvin Park closed every Saturday 6.30am - 2pm for the Gisborne Farmers Market.
