Advice for participants

What items you can put out for collection

Any household items - definitely not food or dangerous goods such as chemicals, faulty electrical equipment, firearms and definitely no rubbish.

Where the items should be placed on the day

Put the items either at your letterbox or next to your driveway by 9am on the Sunday.

At 12noon pack-up any items not taken. It's your responsibility to remove anything not collected.  If you leave it outside your property boundary, it's considered illegal dumping.

What to do with items not collected

After 12noon you must take the items back inside your property. Check our list of what to do with unwanted items

Tips for collectors and treasure hunters

Only take items from advertised addresses. Only collect between 9am - 12noon, no earlier.

Don't enter the property, items should be at the front gate.

We recommend you check anything collected to make sure it's safe.
