Plan Change 6
Proposed Urban Plan Change 6 (UPC6) updates the Tairāwhiti Resource Management Plan to enable a wider range of housing types within Gisborne city, supporting housing supply and affordability while protecting highly productive soils.
Further submissions closed 7 October 2026.
Council will consider the submissions and futher submissions and a report will be prepared on the proposal. A hearing date will be set and notified to all submitters and further submitters who wish to be heard.
