Gisborne Boy's High School Kaiti Hill Fun Run road closure for the safety of runners.
Titirangi Drive and Queens Drive within the Titirangi (Kaiti Hill) Reserve will be closed to vehicles during the Fun Run event which is based from Te Poho o Rawiri Marae on 22 September from 11 am to 2 pm 2026.
Full road closures will be in place at the Reserve boundaries on Queens Drive and Titirangi Drive for the duration of the event.
It will be an offence under the regulations for anyone, other than those authorised to do so, to use the road while it is closed.
Access to walkways on the Reserve will remain open but anyone not involved in the event will need to be aware of runners using the newest track from the Marae going up to the summit and then coming down the road.
This notice is issued under the Local Government Act 1974 Section 342 and the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.
