RENEWAL OF AN OFF-LICENCE with VARIATION

has made application to the Gisborne District Licensing Committee for the renewal of an Off-Licence in respect of the premises situated at 5198 Te Araroa Road, Hicks Bay.
The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is: Off-Licence.
The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are: Monday to Sunday from 9am until 9pm.
Variation
Current condition:
The entire premises is designated as a supervised area, as shown on the attached
plan, and is located within the store at the front of the premises.
Proposed Variation of condition:
It is proposed to change the designation to an undesignated area. The off-licence area is located within the store/takeaway area. This variation will allow minors to enter the premises and make purchases from the shop without supervision.
The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Gisborne District Licensing Committee at the Gisborne District Council, 15 Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne.
Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 25 working days after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at Gisborne District Council, PO Box 747, Gisborne 4040.
No objection to the issue of a new licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 105(1) of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
