Secondhand Sunday

Secondhand Sunday is held on the first Sunday of every month except January.

It's an opportunity to give away household items you no longer want.  You can also collect items you want from others for free.

The list of addresses for Secondhand Sunday are posted on our Facebook page on the Saturday before the event. Our Facebook Page

Helpful information for participants

You can put out any items except food and dangerous goods (chemicals, faulty electrical equipment, firearms) and definitely no rubbish.

Put the items either at your letterbox or next to your driveway by 9am.

At 12noon, pack-up any items not taken. It's your responsibility to remove anything not taken.  If you leave it outside your property boundary, you're in breech of the dumping rubbish bylaw.

After 12noon you must take the items back inside your property.

If you want to get rid of them - read Recycle unwanted items

Only take items from advertised addresses.

Only collect between 9am - 12noon, no earlier.

Do not enter the property, items should be at the front gate.

We recommend that you check anything you collect to make sure it's safe.
